Last updated: 1 January 2026
TV Protect is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
How accessible this website is
We believe this website is largely accessible. The following features are implemented throughout the site:
- All images have descriptive alt text
- Heading structure is logical and hierarchical
- Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimum ratios
- The site is navigable by keyboard alone
- Focus indicators are visible throughout
- Interactive elements have appropriate ARIA labels
- The site works without JavaScript for core content
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function
- No content flashes more than three times per second
- Form fields have associated labels
Known limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- Some interactive tool interfaces may not provide complete screen reader feedback for dynamic result updates. We are reviewing these for improved ARIA live region implementation.
- The fault selector interface keyboard navigation is functional but not fully optimised for screen reader workflows.
Technical specification
This website is built with HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. It uses semantic HTML5 elements throughout. It has been tested on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and on iOS and Android mobile browsers.
